The narration covers the highs and lows of the journeys, the experiences in the physical and spiritual plane; alongside observations on the historical, geographical, economic, geopolitical, and cultural, aspects of the land that they traversed.

These ‘young veterans’, during the course of the two motor odysseys, spanning a cumulative time and space of 43 days, and 10,500 kms, have crisscrossed through fifteen States and Union Territories of Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, and the neighbouring country of Nepal.

They rode on undeterred by natural and manmade impediments; successfully negotiating cyclonic storms, rock falls, flood scare, snow, rain, unsafe roads, roadblocks, et al, encountered enroute!

The three treks undertaken by these veterans on the Himalayan heights are no less awe inspiring. They are graphic accounts of human endurance, a victory of mind over matter, grey hair notwithstanding!
