This book is his 'Travelogue' starting from his childhood in UNDIVIDED INDIA (Pakistan), the horrors and subsequent travails of the Partition, and to his journey in the Indian Diplomatic Corps, as a self-made man.

His anecdotes are both entertaining and educative in parts, and not just the IFS fraternity, but the other readers too, will enjoy his gentle writing mixed with his love for 'Shayari' (Urdu couplets).
