Spanning the 51 Shakti Peethas, the book draws from personal journeys, scriptural echoes, and deep mythic memory.

Kamakhya—where the Goddess is worshipped in her most untamed and esoteric form—plays a pivotal role. In her subterranean chambers lit only by earthen lamps, I encountered the Dasa Mahavidyas—an experience that transformed my understanding of surrender and inner alchemy.

At its heart, this book is an inquiry into the power and paradox of sacrifice—from the cosmic bones of Rishi Dadhichi to the quiet offering of ego by saints. Kamakshi and Kamakhya emerge as twin poles in this journey: the gaze of compassion and the force of wild grace.
